The Living Promise on Screen
An invitation — not a demand, and not a marquee.
One living witness. Forty years of questions. Thousands of years of evidence. One promise that refuses to die.
Truth without hatred. Faith without blind tradition.
The book is the harvest of a lifetime. The screen is the same search, offered to a wider room. I want the message of The Living Promise to grow — a bestseller in print, and a powerful story for mankind on film. What follows is an invitation to sit with that hope, not a Hollywood pitch.
The Search
A boy witnesses something on a Lebanese mountain that he cannot explain. Instead of accepting or rejecting it blindly, he spends more than forty years testing the possibility that God has been speaking through history all along.
The screen story is not a sermon illustrated with reenactments. It is an investigation carried by a human life.
The Story
After witnessing a wheelchair-bound man rise at Saint Charbel's monastery in 1977, Australian-born William Peter Boyd begins a forty-year search across Scripture, archaeology, empires, manuscripts, miracles and contested evidence to determine whether one living promise connects Genesis, Yeshua the Messiah and the human hunger for eternity.
How It Will Be Told
Premium historical mystery docudrama and spiritual autobiography. Three seasons, eight episodes each, about 48–55 minutes. Present-day investigation, personal memory, historically grounded reconstruction, expert testimony, visual evidence.
Every episode offers a human question, a historical journey, and a body of witness the viewer is invited to weigh. Courageous investigation is part of faith.
When the witnesses are heard together, where does the cumulative weight fall?
A few promises about the telling
- The Living Witness remains the centre.
- Yeshua remains the Living Promise.
- Evidence and interpretation stay distinct.
- The Jewish covenant is foundational, not a discarded preface.
- Islam is examined without dehumanising Muslims.
- Miracles through witness, not fake laboratory certainty.
- The Shroud is cumulative, not one-test proof.
- No invented speeches in ancient mouths.

Season Two — The Promise Carried
The second season asks whether a living promise can survive persecution, power, schism, conquest and the failures of the institutions entrusted with it.
Season Three — The Living Witness
The final season moves into direct investigation. The question is no longer whether the Promise survived, but whether the evidence and living witnesses together justify personal trust.
No streamer is named here. No date is invented. No false marquee is raised. Film & Series is the screen future. The book and the videos will be sold in the Shop. Intro films and this Two Harbours preview stand on the Videos page.
An invitation
Never be afraid to seek the truth. Search. Seek. Knock. Truth has never feared investigation.
If you are Jewish, the covenant is honoured — the one through which God first revealed His promises to the world.
If you are Muslim, this is written with respect, and as an invitation to the same questions.
If you come from another faith, or from none, you are not an enemy. You are a fellow traveller.
The Living Promise is greater than our divisions.
